Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 (32 GB, 4G LTE + Wifi, Classic White & Black)
Samsung's Galaxy Note started the 'phablet' revolution and the Note 3 continues Samsung's exemplary performance in this category. The Note 3 has a larger screen than its predecessor, the Note 2, (up 0.2 inches to 5.7 inches) but is no larger at 151.2 high by 79.2 wide. In fact the Note 3 is actually slimmer and lighter at 8.3mm and 168g. One notable departure from the previous two Galaxy Notes is the backing - rather than the usual Samsung shiny plastic it's a leather-like material - part of the plan to transform the Note from geek device to fashion accessory. The screen has been upgraded too - it's now HD with Super AMOLED technology used on the S4 for super sharp imagery. The processor - Snapdragon 800 quad core - operates at 2.3 GHz and with 3GB of RAM, which means you're going to experience blistering quick performance. There's also a slight battery upgrade - to 3,200 mAh up from 3,100 mAh.
The Note 3 runs the very latest version of Android (4.3) - making it compatible with Samsung's Galaxy Gear smartwatch - and comes with the suite of apps that accompanies the S4 including Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Air Gesture, Air View and S Voice. But what's really impressive is the new range of apps that accompanies the S-Pen - including Pen Window, a multitasking app that allows you to access a 2nd app in a window drawn by you without having to switch screens.
The Note 3 camera has seen a significant upgrade from its predecessor - up from 8-megapixels to 13-megapixels. It also sports a more powerful flash than many of its rivals. The front facing camera, with a 2 megapixel's at its disposal, is perfect for video calls.
