BenQ Projector MS524
Designed for small presentation and classroom settings, the MS524 SVGA DLP Projector from BenQ features a brightness of 3200 lumens and a native resolution of 800 x 600. To enable a measure of flexibility in terms of placement relative to the screen, there is a 1.1x optical zoom with a 1.86 to 2.04:1 throw ratio as well as ±40-degrees vertical keystone correction. In additional to its native resolution, internal scaling enables the projector to handle a variety of video and computer signals up to 1080p for HDTV sources and up to 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) for computer sources.
Ensuring the ability to connect to both current as well as legacy video sources, a total of five inputs are provided. Two VGA ports that work with many computers and integrated AV systems, which can also accommodate a component signal using a separately available component to VGA adapter or cable. For HDTV devices and computers with digital output there is an HDMI port, and for SD analog equipment there is an S-video port and a composite port. A 3.5mm stereo mini jack allows the projector to receive analog audio in case you want to use its built-in 2-watt mono speaker. There is also an analog audio output for connecting amplified speakers or a sound system.
The projector can be operated remotely using onboard buttons or the included IR remote. In addition, there is an RS-232 port for integrating with an automation system such as Crestron.
